Pastor Jason Stephens

Grace Baptist Church has been a faithful supporter of our ministry over the years.  Before this beautiful building existed I remember preaching in several different locations and was privileged to be at the dedication of this building.

 

 

Pastor Stephens is a very talented and Godly man with a great family. It was joy to work with Pastor Stephens and see his love and zeal for the Lord's ministry here in Windsor Connecticut.

Special Sunday Service

I spent the day preaching and enjoying the fellowship of my brothers and sisters at the church.  The Lord saved souls and burned His Word on hearts in both the morning and evening services.  The presents of the Lord was very evident and His power could not be missed as the out pouring of the Holy Spirit fell.

From the very start the presents of the Lord was known. The choir did an out standing song of the power of the resurrection.

As part of the choir number a young man sang the last verse showing hope even in death and an uncertain world.

What a fantastic job these men did in the special music.  Great voices, singing a great song about a great God.  A combination that can't be beat.

Vacation Bible School 2005

Mrs. Souza and I helped out at the VBS program and very much enjoyed working with these folks.  The Lord gave record attendance with good spiritual results.  Well over one hundred attended the closing program on Friday.

 

The church used the theme "King of the Jungle" to bring home the Gospel message.  Some got saved,  others surrendered and all were made aware of the Lord's love and plan for them as well learning the devil's wicked ways.

 

Spiritual lessons were also taught by the visit of some very special "kind" of people.  Good Christian characteristics were brought forth on several nights of the VBS through them.

 

 

 

 

Much work went into this summer ministry.   Everyone just seemed to pitch in to win souls and strengthen lives and do something to see God work in the lives of these young people.

I was also asked to preach the Sunday's services following Vacation Bible School.  We had a wonderful time teaching Sunday School and preaching the morning and evening services.  There was a moving of the Lord in the tender hearts of God's people to remain strong and faithful.  Many made a personal altar as the Lord searched all our hearts.

My long time friend, Brother Calciano, led the singing.

He also reminded us:
God is good --- All the time
All the time -- God is good
and
Everything's alright in my Fathers House - AMEN

 

 

Grace Baptist Church has a wonderful facility.  A beautiful auditorium,  adequate Sunday School rooms and a gymnasium serve the congregation well.

Anyone visiting this church can expect a warm and friendly welcome as well as hearing the Gospel preached.

 

 

 

Once again I was privileged to have my dear and lovely wife, Faith, with me.  I so enjoy her ministry in music at the piano.
