White Oak
Baptist Church
Stratford, Connecticut

White Oak Baptist Church is truly a testimony of God's
Goodness and Grace. Over Twenty-five years ago Brother Barry Brown and his
family moved to Connecticut at the invitation of the Holy Spirit.
Believing God was leading them to establish a New Testament Baptist Church they
settled on Stratford CT.
Pastor Brown has now
accepted the position of Academic Dean of the New England Baptist College in
Southington CT. Brother Mike Peslak was called as the Pastor of the church.
Brother Peslak has the faith, vision and dedication to do a great work for God
here.
Over the years I have seen the mighty hand of God at work.
The faithfulness of God's people has been rewarded by the blessings of the
Lord. Over the years many many have been saved, baptized and grown in the
Christian life. This is an exciting, growing and Biblically sound Baptist
Church. Anyone who loves the Bible will feel at home among these good
people and amid the friendly atmosphere.
Brother Peslak asked me to preach a week of revival
meetings
in the Christian School of the church. I was excited to be among the young
people. The Lord used His Word to soften hearts and touch lives. It
was exciting each day to see how the Lord tilled the soil, planted the
seed and then gave a great harvest. On Thursday a snow storm caused
the meeting to be cancelled but on Friday we had a two chapels, one in the
morning and one in the afternoon. The working of the Holy Spirit was
evident and visible.

| One day I arrived early and
visited the class of these young people. They showed me their work
and projects. They sang in two chapel services and I must say it
did my heart good to see their love and enthusiasm for the Lord. |

I preached the mid-week service on Wednesday night
and it was evident that the prayers of God's man and God's people were heard and
answered. The Lord met with us in power and might. That afternoon on
street evangelism I stopped and spoke to a man, while Pastor was at a house
door. Soon Brother Peslak came and met us around the corner and he led
that man to Christ. What a blessing!

This world map shows the heart throb of the ministry of
White Oak Baptist Church. Missionaries are supported all over the
world. I guess you can truly say "the sun never sets" on this ministry.
Souls are souls, here or around the world and this church wants them to hear the
message of the Gospel.
