A growing church is established in Thompson Connecticut!!  Through the vision and burden for souls, Brother Ron Berard and his family came to this largely forgotten Northeast corner of the state.  Touching Massachusetts and Rhode Island this work was born in April 2005.

The Lord blessed the first service with forty people in attendance.  About half of these were first time visitors.  Since then the attendance has been steady, souls have been saved and some await baptism.

Brother Berard asked me to come and preach Sunday Services.  Having been here just a short time ago I stood amazed at both the physical and spiritual growth if this relatively young work.  New faces, new converts, new members as well as all those I remember from the past, filled the auditorium ... and I mean filled the auditorium.  Since my last visit the back wall was moved back to make more seating available and the building newly arraigned. 

The spirit of the Lord was so very evident on this special day.  From the first hymn to the last Amen there was a consciousness of the Lord presents.  I expect the Lord to keep blessing this solid Bible believing Baptist Church.
