North Tiverton Baptist Church

Brother Hamilton has seen the Lord move greatly at this old time church.  My wife and I could see and feel the burden and heart they have for the people in the church as well as the town of North Tiverton.   And now the Lord has given them a new building.   It was such a joy preach in the new building and see first hand the goodness of the Lord.  It was so exciting and the Lord blessed the services in many ways as seen in the response of the believers.

Brother Hamilton and  his dear wife have been long time friends of ours.  We first met them while preaching at the Calvary Baptist Church in Middletown, RI many years ago.  They both were serving the Lord faithfully in that ministry and now the Lord has called them into the Gospel Ministry full time and is blessing them.

I am scheduled to preach here in October each year.  In time past it was in December, but now it has moved to the fall in order to avoid the likelihood of snow and ice that we often experienced.  But none the less the privilege of being in this pulpit remains an honor. The Word of God is always warmly received in each service and the bond formed over the years was strengthened.   I was able to feel the heartbeat of the folks for spiritual growth and outreach ministries.  I was so thrilled to see many new faces and of course the faithful who have stood by this work in labor and giving.  My heart was uplifted to see the joy of the believes in the service.

 The Lord warmed hearts and dealt with souls as only He can.  This church is over 117 years old and has seen many changes over the years.  But no change is as great as the change the Lord makes in the hearts, lives and homes of those willing to yield to His Holy Spirit.  We had a great service with many responding to the altar call of the Lord.

With the new building, complete with an over flow room I expect to see the a moving of  God in a great way.

My heart is always blessed to see faithful servants of the Lord.  So faithfully has this dear sister played the organ over the years.  Now she plays in the new church with the same heart of love and devotion.  May the Lord bless her and rise up more like her.

The Word of God for the World 

The church has a vision that reaches beyond its city and state. That vision has not been lost or diminished with the new building.
It has an active missions program supporting nine missionaries around the world.

Pastor Hamilton is a student of the Word of God, a preacher of the Gospel and a faithful soldier in the army of the Lord.

I am glad to be his friend and fellow laborer in the harvest field of souls. 

I been preaching here so much they named a street after me!
