Located in the Houston area of Texas, this fine church is doing a great work for the Lord.  Pastor David Moore and the people of this church have been a blessing to me and many others over the years.  Many souls have been saved and lives touched by the grace of the Lord.  The Word of God is not bound and God's hand is not weak to save and restore lives.
 

Cleveland Welcomes You to attend Tabernacle Baptist Church Brother Moore has been here over twenty years.  What a tribute to the calling of God.  When so many move on and change frequently it is refreshing to see someone drop anchor and weather the storms of trails and affections. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.     1Co 15:58

Although the church has undergone some trying times the Lord is still blessing.  No matter what the devil has done to destroy this work, the ministry stands faithful. We saw the Lord save several souls, folks join the church, believers ready to be baptize and believers strengthened with new hope and dedication. 

The spirit of the meeting was uplifting and many hearts were touched in each of the services. 

Wow two times in one year I got to go to Texas and preach.  In March a Revival Meeting and also celarating the Brother Moore's anniversary with the chuch then in July for the Twenty-Six Anniversary of the founding of the Church.

There can no better preparation for the preaching of the Word of God than prayer and good Godly music.  Both played a huge part in success of the revival.

What would a Revival be without Good Christian Fellowship?

When you stand at the pulpit you see this banner on the wall.  It is a constant reminder that God's Word will not return void.  God can save souls,  restore the backslider and heal the broken in heart and spirit.  If we have the faith God has the power.

Somehow I wish I could capture the wonderful spirit of singing and the joy of the Lord here at Tabernacle Baptist Church.  Without contemporary style beat and not dead in liturgical ritual, the music was joyfully uplifting as well as doctrinally correct.  Hymns of praise and songs of the gospel message all led way to the preaching of the Word of God.
