Pastor and Mrs. Jones

This was my second visit to Springmore Baptist Church located in Shelby, North Carolina.  Mrs. Souza was able to be with me again to renew our our fellowship with this friendly and sweet family of believers.  We were here for a very special reason also.  Jonathan and Hana had annouced their engagement for marriage this September.  Jonathan, is ministering in the area of music and anywhere else he is needed.  He sets all the congregational and special music for the services.  Hana has been a faithful member and serves in many areas of ministry within the church.

Pastor Jones asked me to preach the Sunday Father's Day services.  The Lord blessed as Fathers stood at the altar, their wives with them joined by the children in a renewed dedicated for a Godly home and pure testimony.

Music done to the Glory of God rather than to show the talents of the performer is rare now a days.  But here at Springmore Baptitst Church it is the common and normal practice.  The Lord was seen through the servents of God.

Not forgetting the great commandment of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring the Gospel into all the world,  the church has an active and strong missions program.  Missionaries around the world are supported and prayed for on a regular basis. 

Mrs. Souza and I want to thank the church for the wonderful blessing of being among them.  We enjoyed our time with Jonathan and seeing first hand of what he told us of the ministry there.   I rejoice in the good blessing of God and  I look forward to the great things the Lord has in store for this church.

Pastor Jones is being used of the Lord.  He is a powerful preacher,  a loving Pastor and a faithful man of God.
