Pastor Doug Neiner

Pittsfield Massachusetts is in the heart of New England and Pastor Doug Neiner has a heart, burden and vision for New England.  Over nineteen years ago he came and made claim to the promises of the Lord.  A church, a people and a testimony now stand in evidence of God's faithfulness and the steadfastness Brother Neiner.

Brother Neiner recently underwent surgery and was still recovering when I filled the pulpit for him.  I found the people alive with hope and vision.

I am glad to report he is recovering and is most anxious to return to the activities of the ministry in the near future.

Hearts were soft and receptive to the preaching of the Word of God.  Several indicated their need of salvation and many came forward at the invitation of the Holy Spirit to get alone with the Lord and seek His ways and face.

The Ladies Choir did a wonderful arrangement of the song "Rejoice in the Lord"  What a reminder of the Lord's provision even in times of distress, hardship and uncertainly.

"Rejoice in the Lord He makes no mistakes"

The evening service was well attended and again many were not ashamed to make an altar to bow before the Lord.  It was a blessing so see many young people in both services giving heed to the preaching of God's Word.

Brother James Hamilton taught the Sunday School lesson from the book of Joshua.  He was both scholarly and scriptural making good application for the life of the believer.

John Neiner, one of the Pastor's sons, is the Youth Pastor of the church and also led the singing for the services. He and his dear wife took good care of Mrs. Souza and myself while we ministered during this time.
