Pioneer Valley
Baptist Church
Westfield, Massachusetts
Pastor Jerry Cleveland

I hear it over and over, the North East is dead to God and
New England is a preacher's grave yard. Maybe I am blind, dumb and numb,
but I don't see it that way. Men like Brother Cleveland and so many others
have shown God's grace is not bound by geographic location. Sinners still
need to be saved. God called into existence the Pioneer Valley Baptist
Church many years ago and it still stands on the Word of God, has soul winning
vision and a faithfulness that seems rare these days.

My dear wife was with me as I had the privilege of filling
in for Brother Cleveland. What a wonderful time we had with the folks. It was
good to see vehicles roll in with eager young people to be taught the Word of
God. I also was able to see again some of the young people and adults that
were at camp this past summer.
I remember preaching a long time ago in the old Grange
Hall where the church had met. Then under the tabernacle located on the
church grounds and now in this wonderful, beautiful and comfortable building.

We had excellent services and a heart warming
time of worship and fellowship. The entire
service was centered on the Word of God which the music not only
reflected but also glorified the Lord Jesus Christ.

Not ONE but TWO pianos made the singing uplifting, spirited and
honoring to the Lord. |

The
special music was hand picked by the Holy Spirit. Without
any prearrangements the Lord laid on Sister's Mitchell's heart
the perfect song for the message.
|
| The members
of the church keep a well lit, clean and happy looking nursery
for child care during the services. |

A well maintained and clean bus has brought
countless young people to hear the Word of God. Sure gas is
expensive and insurance costs high - but how much is a soul worth?
Thank God for vision and workers to who will reach out to lost souls.
You can always tell the heart of a church by the
Missionary vision it has. Many home and foreign missionaries are supported
by prayer and finical giving.
