New Life Baptist Church

New Life Baptist Church was among the very first to support our ministry many years ago.  They have remained faithful in their stand for the Word of God and soul winning passion.  Pastor David Chase is an retired Navy officer who is well equipped to do battle for the Lord as a good solider in the army of the Lord.  His disciplined life and fervent spirit shows in the solid and uncompromising ministry of New Life Baptist Church.

My dear wife and I were invited to the "Sweetheart Banquet" and I was asked to bring the message from the Word of God.  Having been there several years now for this event, as well as in time past for revivals, I never know exactly what Brother Chase will plan.  This year was without exception the very best.  The food was excellent and abundant.  The fellowship was sweeter then ever.  But most of all the attention and appreciation for the preaching of Bible was so very evident.

The years past so quickly. I remember preaching in this beautiful auditorium when a bare light bulb hung by wires above the pulpit and plywood covered the floor instead of carpet. Folding chairs and unfinished walls was all the decor to be seen.  Yet the spirit, hope and vision of the people was not dimmed.  They set their hearts on the Lord and their hands to the task.  Now with a completed, well lit and comfort controlled auditorium that same spirit, hope and vision still prevails.

Missions has always been the heart of the ministry at New Life Baptist Church.  Yet while concerned about souls around the world they have not forgotten the souls across the street or across our nation.
