Well .. wellllllllllllllllll .. Ok I forgot my camera this year so I don't have any pictures.  If someone sends me some that they have I will post them.  But this years camp was GREAT (as they usually are).  A bit smaller group but none the less their heart was ready for the preaching of the Word of God.

On my way up to camp, going through Vermont, I stopped for a break at the welcome center.  After I was there a few minutes I noticed a group of young people come in and immediately recognized them as the Lakes Pond group.  We greeted each other and I just knew then and there we would have a great camp.  In each service the Lord worked in the deepest parts of our hearts.  Often we would scatter around the building to meet God one on one.  Some of us stood, some knelt, some bowed but all met God.  With the fire cracking in the fire place our hearts were warmed and molded to be FULL, PURE and UNDIVIDED.  Our theme verse was Pro 4:23 "Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. "

Although Snow Camp is suppose to be for the young people, us adults were touched by God as well.

Past Camp

Snow Camp is always something special.  In the midst of the cold and dark days winter snow camp is a bright and welcome time. Warm and receptive hearts combined for a wonderful snow camp with the young people of Lakes Pond Baptist Church.  The lake was 17 inches thick with ice, the wind was stiff and the snow fell.

Many many times we all gathered around the fire place to warm up and to fellowship.  In all over 30 attended the camp.  Each service gave us an opportunity to let the Lord speak to our hearts.  Many through out the week were willing to kneel on the cold concrete floor to get alone with the Lord in full surrender of their wills, lives and ambitions.

Special music by the young people was a blessing.  This group LOVES to sing.

Brother Norm (as always) did an excellent job in promoting, organizing and overseeing the activities of the camp.

His and his wife's love for the young people and their love and respect for them made for a good camp with no problems needing discipline or correction.  Each young man and woman behaved in a godly way.  I personally heard no "murmuring or complaining" about anything!

Can a Christian REALLY enjoy being saved???   YES

Thank the Lord for many who took personal time from home and work to be at camp.  Helping in whatever needed to be done with a happy and joyful spirit.

Their labor will not be in vain.

As always young people grow up and move on.  It always saddens my heart to know that each time I preach at Snow Camp it will be the last time to speak for those who will move into adulthood.  Along with this sadness is the joy of knowing that they heard clear and plain the Gospel message of salvation and have accepted God's grace of forgiveness. Along with that is the hope that somewhere along the way the preaching of living for the Lord will have made some impact on their life and service to our wonderful Savior.  I always said the devil may get some young people but he won't get them all!!!!

Their last year as campers

Lots of Fun Too
