Lakes Pond Baptist Church as stood for the Gospel of Jesus Christ since 1842.  Today it stands as firm as ever on the Word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ.  Its a strong church of Biblical convictions, has a compassionate soul-winning ministry and active youth who participate in all the ministries including visitation and discipleship.

In keeping with the great commission the church has established Baptist Bible Academy.  A Christian school with the Bible at it's heart.  I had the honor of preaching the first few days of the school year during the chapel times.

Brother Larry Hunt and all the great staff of the Academy are to be commended on an excellent program of high educational and spiritual standards.  True Christian education must reach the heart as well as the head.

The response to the preaching from the whole student body touched my heart each day.  I have received several letters, cards and tokens of testimony of how the Lord worked in the hearts of students.   I expect this year to be greatly blessed by God.
