There is ALWAYS something exciting going on at Lakes Pond Baptist Church.  Recently Pastor Meader started the YES program Youth-Evangelism-Service.  This program is designed to encourage, train and equip young people in the Gospel ministry.

These times include discipleship, personal walk with the Lord and outreach to win the lost.  The program takes on different activities, all enjoyable and spiritually lead.  I was privileged to be at the first meeting.  Eighteen young men and women turned out for a time of instruction and challenge.  After the lesson time we all loaded the vans and cars and went door to door with the message of the gospel.

We returned to the church to a wonderful meal and time of fellowship.  The young people at Lakes Pond are truly a testimony of the Godly homes and sound Biblical teaching they have received.

Being Wednesday, the mid-week service was held and I again had a wonderful time in the young peoples service.  While some churches cut back programs in the summer months, this church expands them!!

 There is much  musical talent and it always amazed me how much these kids like to sing around the piano on their own.

I am looking forward to seeing God work through them in the days to come.
