Youth Rally
Independent Baptist Church
Pleasantville, Pennsylvania
Almost
two hundred young people from the Tri-State area came to rally in the name of Jesus.
This truly was a "Youth Rally" not put on FOR youth but BY
youth. A snow storm stopped some churches from coming but those that did
arrive came to be a blessing. What a blessing they were too!!

The excitement was contagious. From the first note to the last
the joy of the Lord filled the building. There is a mighty moving of God
upon the lives of these young people that prevailed throughout the rally.
Before we sang the first hymn the whole church broke up in small groups to
pray and seek the power of the Holy Spirit upon the service. That alone
was enough to set my heart on fire.
At times we laughed. At times we cried. At times we
prayed. And in everything the Name of Jesus was lifted in praise and
honor. Souls were saved, lives were claimed for Christian service and
restoration came upon backsliders. The altar and the isles were filled at
the invitation. The Spirit moved upon hearts and hearts were yielded and
tender. Tears, hugs and joy flooded hearts. It is always good to see
God move in such great ways.
Special Music stirred hearts

A group from the Faith Baptist
School of Theology sang "Keep on the
Firing Line" AMEN!

A highlight was to hear the
"Preacher Boys" PREACH!!!
and my did they ever preach!!!

They praised the Lord and shamed the devil. Thank God
for young men planning on preaching for the salvation of souls, the separation of believers and building of local fundamental Baptist Churches.
It was just amazing to see these young people so love the
things of the Lord. They simply could not get enough of spiritual
things. After the meeting we had refreshments, but VERY SOON after that
they all gathered back up in the church to finish what they came to do -- have a
good time in the Lord!
Groups
from different churches just gathered around the piano, some with string
instruments and all with song. One after another hymns and gospel songs
rang out. Nothing really formal but all very spiritual and
heartfelt. Just singing, playing and giving God all the glory. These
folks just wouldn't go home. They just wanted their cup full as God promised.

Thank God for those who would not sell, lend or give their
talents to the world.
