Brother Dan has a real heart for these tender lives and soon to be adults. His love and compassion is well balanced with Biblical convictions and Holy Spirit guidance. He seems to work tirelessly both in the school and church, ever looking for ways to be a blessing to anyone he can.
An unexpected blessing was mine on Thursday. I was informed that many New Hampshire Christian Schools would be in Hillsboro for a day of relaxation in sports and activities. I had the honor of preaching to some of the finest young people in New England - Almost 200 of them!! So my daily chapel time at one school was extended to many other schools as well.
The church auditorium was full and folks were out in the foyer as young people sat in a most attentive way to the preaching of the Word of God. Even after a day of sports and food! I praise the Lord for churches and schools that put a good emphasis on preaching. My heart was full of praise and my soul was over run with joy as the altar was flooded 3 or 4 rows back at the simple invitation given in the end of the service. With no one standing, no one singing and no music played the only movement and sound was the soft but firm steps of those young people who would take a firm stand for God and have a life to back it up.
This wall sign reminded me that as servants of the Lord we must always put others first. The testimony of this dear sister of her willingness to even be stung by bees then to see a child hurt struck a cord in my heart. I asked the Lord to give me that type of servants heart. I read it again and again each time I entered the Prophets Chamber in which I was staying.
