For over forty seven years Pastor Dickerson has ministered faithfully in Elkton Maryland at the Maranatha Baptist Church.  Starting first in a very small 22'x30' building on a one half acre piece of land, the ministry now reaches thousands through it ministries.

The Church also has its own full time 24 hour FM radio station WOEL that reaches out to thousands around the clock.  While doing some personal soul winning at a local truck stop, I was encouraged to have folks tell me they have been hearing the church services "live" over the radio each night.  Each service was broadcast live and several visitors came as a direct result of this ministry.

I was there for the OLD-FASHIONED CAMP MEETING held each year but also preached the Sunday services at the church.  Two were saved in the morning service and one in the evening service.

The choir did an outstanding job with great songs of the faith in the "ole fashioned" gospel way.  All the music was done in a Godly way to touch the heart not the flesh.  Thank the Lord He does not need the world's ways to win souls, lift up the fallen and have the saints rejoice.

The Camp Meeting was blessed by God as he spoke to hearts each night.

The benches you see were given to the ministry by Oliver B. Green.  An old time preaching Evangelist who used them years before in his tent meetings.  I wish I could hear the benches "speak" of the souls saved and the powerful preaching they were under.  Yet, I believe they are still hearing and seeing that.  The open-air Shiloh Tabernacle is located on the 32 acre camp meeting grounds across the church.   

Behold the Lamb of God which taketh away the sin of the world.  

At least seven did behold Him as their Savior this week.  Stepping out of darkness into light.  Many many more filled the isles and alter as the Holy Spirit melted hearts, washed away the stain of sin and lifted burdens.  The only burden not lifted was the burden for souls and a sold out life to God.

During this week I also had the wonderful and joyful privilege to preach to the young people of the academy, high school and college each morning.  I met with the high school twice teaching the Bible class also.  A busy week but one that I thoroughly enjoyed.

Maranatha Baptist Church supports over one hundred missionaries around the world.  The church also is headquarters for Antioch New Testament Baptist Mission.  

It seems like there is no end to the ministries of this great church.  Pilgrim Fundamental Baptist Press is yet another ministry.  A full and complete operation with several presses and cutters etc. is located on the premises.
