The vision of  Lakes Pond Baptist Church not only reaches around the world but also a few miles down the road!  Many might question why start another Baptist church so close?  The reason is simple, people need to be saved and the Lord has commissioned the new testament Baptist church for the task.    The pastor and members of Lakes Pond believe the verse on the pulpit.  In the darkness of sin City Wide Baptist Church is bringing the light of Jesus Christ.

City Wide now is an Independent Baptist Church and called Brother Broc as its pastor.

The church meets in a downtown location in the heart of the city. A good  number have been saved and now attending the services. 

City Wide Baptist Church has experienced the usual satanic attacks when a new church is started but the Lord is giving the victory.

First Annual Men's Conference

Pastor Broc has felt the need to reach and develop men for the Lord's work and service.  He asked me to preach  the First Annual Men's Conference held at the church.  Both Friday and Saturday nights were dedicated to teaching the Scriptures on this important task.  A very good group of men attended.  The first night a man was saved and many other men responded to the touch of the Holy Spirit to live as a Mature Man of God.  The next morning four more men were saved and more hearts surrendered to the will of God.  On Sunday the church family met and again a woman was saved.  It was especially wonderful since she was Pastor's Broc mother in law.  In all seven were saved during the three days.

I just loved seeing the Scripture Banners all over the building
