First Baptist Church
Caldwell, New Jersey

Pastor Bulka has and is building a wonderful work for the
Lord in Caldwell, New Jersey. This was the very first church to take the
Altar Call Ministry on for missions support many years ago.
Currently over 100 missionaries around the world are supported by prayer and
faithful giving. They have an extensive ministry of soul winning and
discipleship. There is always an air of anticipation and excitement among
the believers.

Tent Meeting 2010
Weeks
of prayers and hard work went into the semi-annual tent meeting with amazing
results. The Lord blessed in a great way amid the onslaughts of the devil.
As usual he used the weather to chill the spirit of revival.
After the Sunday Morning service the folks gathered in the fellowship hall for a
great meal and time of enjoyment.
While in the church the weather began to change.
High gusts of wind and rain prevailed. Seeing the coming storm the
tent was taken down (before the devil could blow it down) and the
afternoon service was held in the church auditorium.

Each night and in each service there was a
response to the call of the Holy Spirit. A number of souls were
saved and lives given to the Lord. The hard asphalt surface did
not stop folks from bowing the knee before the Almighty God whom they
love and and came to worship. Each service was well attended with
an eagerness to have the Lord convict, rebuke and encourage our hearts

The services were interpreted for the deaf. After all its with the
heart man believeth unto rightness
The Tent Meeting corresponded to the 160th year
anniversary of the founding of the church. Much history was made in these
years.
History records countless conversions to the Lord,
missionaries called and sent from the church and new churches founded.
This today is still carried on with the same zeal, faith and vision of the
founding members.
Over the years of the Caldwell Tent Meeting so many had changed lives
and touched hearts. You can not ask for more then the Lord gave.
Souls saved, lives touched and restored as well as the Gospel message
proclaimed are all an answer to prayer. It was so evident that believers
greatly enjoyed the fellowship, music and preaching the way the Lord intended it
to be this side of glory.
| A balloon launch was made by the young
people. The Gospel was carried by the winds to places that only
the Lord knows. We have actually heard of people who have found
balloons with the tracks and have gotten saved. While this is no
replacement for personal contact it was something that the Lord
can use in His own way. It sure got the attention of the city
folk those who drove by. |

After each service
there was a time of refeshment.
It is always something
special to renew old friendships which were made over the years.
On this side of Glory we often don't have time to do that, so it
is a delightful time when it occurs. |

And the people said unto Joshua, The LORD our God
will we serve, and his voice will we obey.
So Joshua made a covenant with the people that day, and set them a
statute and an ordinance in Shechem
And Joshua wrote these words in the book of the law of God, and took a
great stone, and set it up there under an oak, that was by the
sanctuary of the LORD.
And Joshua said unto all the people, Behold,
this stone shall be a witness unto us; for it hath heard all the words of the LORD which he spake
unto us: it shall be therefore a witness unto you, lest ye deny your God.

A hard working Pastor, with a heart for
people and love for the Lord.
