Pastor Grant Smith
Central
Baptist Church is indeed located in the central part of a very needy area of New
Jersey. Pastor Smith was called to the church after a long ministry of
Brother Charles Horton.
Brother Horton, is now a missionary to churches in America. He helps churches without a pastor to find one and assists pastors of local churches through evangelism and discipleship.
Pastor Smith is doing a wonderful job in teaching the people the Word of God and reaching the area with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He has a fine family that support the efforts needed for a successful ministry.
The revival meeting was blessed by God is so many ways. The Lord worked deep within hearts. There was a true sense of revival as God revealed secret sin and the need for cleansing so as not to hinder the work of the Holy Spirit. From the first service to the last, the altar was a place of surrender and self-sacrifice. A very sweet spirit prevailed throughout the week.

The special music was so so good. Uplifting, joyful and convicting are words to convey the part music should have in a revival meeting. The brothers and sisters of the church were used of the Lord to bring hearts to the point of reception of the Word of God. |
